TRIP 2004
Although the trip has ended, this was the page I tried to get up while in Okinawa. I have over 2k pictures to sort through, so I will add more later this week. For now enjoy the pictures below.

It is now day 10 of our trip and it is going extremely well. Our travels to Okinawa went smooth and the weather here has been good, hot but good. We have had one typhoon so far and training on the roof was fun. Our training has covered all katas and the Jujitsu sets. Sensei Penna has been cooking some excellent meals. For those who understand, I ate the soup, ALL of the soup, not once but twice! It actually wasn't bad. Our site seeing (led by Sensei Weinberg) brought us to Hija Bashi, which is the bridge where Chotoku Kyan (who O'Sensei credits as his primary instructor) use to jump off to a ship below and back up again. Chotoku Kyan's memorial was there as well. The Internet place I used in my last trip is no longer in business. The next closest place is 45 min. to an hour away making it more difficult to get to, so this will be my only update before I get home

Hope everyone is well,
Darryl
